In today’s advanced cyber threat environment,  IT Managers face a huge challenge: Cyber attacks can no longer be prevented.

Join us Wednesday, October 25 at 2:00 pm ET as we update you on the current state of cyber threats facing local government agencies and how to best protect your agency from the unthinkable:

Greg  Scasny, CTO of Blueshift Cybersecurity will share why:

  • Prevention Isn’t possible:  Zero Day attacks,  Supply Chain Attacks, Social Engineering attacks require a different approach.
  • Shift To Defensive Cyber –  Why agencies should adopt a paradigm shift that anticipates the inevitable compromise, focusing more resources on early detection and response
  • Why Defensive Cybersecurity is a Big Data Challenge: demanding a platform that combines maximum visibility,  SOAR automation, and a highly skilled team of cyber analysts to detect threats and deliver rapid response.
  • How to make Defensive Cyber affordable: Maintaining in-house cybersecurity analysts is costly and complex. The right managed cybersecurity partner combines an affordable platform with world-class threat hunters for a fraction of the cost of an in-house solution..

Guest Speaker Sanford Hess, IT Manager of the City of Urbana will share some first hand experience with:

  • The Changing Role of IT Managers: As everything moves to the cloud,   how the role of IT Managers has evolved
  • How to Add Value with Managed Services: As critical systems are increasingly delivered as-a-service,  why IT Managers need to think more like a business analyst and less like a technician.
